These activities range from making our residents feel extra special with goodie bags for Grandparents Day to MorningStar of Arcadia residents and team members observing National Kindness Day by making snow cones (on a hot Arizona day) for the Life Care of Scottsdale nursing home residents.
We also encourage you to look at the pictures of MorningStar at Arcadia celebrating our company’s 15th anniversary in style last August. As the 15-year mark is traditionally symbolized by crystal, our party was a glittery affair…reflective of our clear and sparkling love for our residents and their families. Along with events like Spirit Week with days such as Twin Day and 70’s Day, our community celebrated Christmas with a number of special activities and outings in December. Early in the month brought Christmas tree decorating and two evenings of Christmas lights viewing drives. Continuing the festivities, in mid-month we created ginger bread houses and enjoyed the Saint Thomas Choir. Other December activities included a Christmas Choir, Ugly Sweater Day, Open House and Christmas Celebration.
